Week 47 in Field! (con't)

October 1st 2016 - The prohibition on shorter skirts has at long last been lifted!
For the first time in four whole months, I put on a skirt that was shorter than ankle length!
My companion and I felt like rebels!

Elder Shipp hurt his back and has been walking around with a brace around his waist..and a helmet?

Leave everything at Christ's feet...

On Saturday night, we went to visit Sister D with the Barlows and the Elders.
It was such a special experience to teach together with 5 other missionaries.
As we supported each other and took turns testifying, the Spirit was undeniable.
It was so reassuring to know that we were all on the same page and testifying of the same truths!
After a good lesson, we were ready to rush home to meet our curfew...to our slight dismay, Elder Barlow's car trunk would not shut no matter what we did.
Elder Sun decided to try and fix things from the inside out by hopping into the trunk :P

In the end though...we had to tape it closed!

Sunday was Sister Phosawad's Birthday, so Sister Courchaine and I decided to see how stealthy we could be by setting up a surprise late Saturday night.

A Blessed Sunday!

Sister Muay finally got baptized!
Her journey has been tough, but she has now taken her step through the first door towards Eternal Life with our Father in Heaven.
Our journey together has been long with bumps along the way, but I am so impressed with this beautiful daughter of God who has turned her life around and is doing her best to be a part of Heavenly Father's Kingdom.
From quitting her job as a fortune teller, to gaining a testimony about prayer, to not working on Sundays to worship our Lord, to not worshiping at Buddhist temples anymore, I am so amazed at how far she has come since our first lesson together!
It's hard to put into words all that we have been through, but her simple, sweet testimony of how the gospel has brought peace and happiness to her life is heartwarming.

After church on Sunday, we got to watch the General Women's Broadcast with Sister Barlow at her home in our PJs! (Permission straight from President Johnson!)
Sister Barlow wanted to show off her PJs in this picture :D

Today for our last PDAY this transfer, we spent it together as a district!

Our chauffeur, Brother Bonchuay is the best! He is the Chiang Mai missionaries' go to man!

Strawberry Hat!

Since Elder Sun is returning home after two years of diligent service, Brother Um invited all the missionaries over for lunch!
His food is absolutely delicious! ^^

"Knock and it shall be opened unto you" - Come unto me?!

Posers... you wish you could, Elders :P

Riding double...?!?!
