Kitties!

This week went by in a blur. We were away for a day in Bangkok and we taught lots of English.
We taught more investigator lessons than usual, and even had a new investigator as well as several investigators at church!
I can't really remember all that happened, but we must have done something right to have been blessed like this :)
Something that has been on my mind is gossip.
I will echo what President Uchtdorf said in his May 2012 talk, "The Merciful Obtain Mercy:"
'This topic of judging others could actually be taught in a two-word sermon.
When it comes to hating, gossiping, ignoring, ridiculing, holding grudges, or wanting to cause harm, please apply the following:
Stop it! '
People are not perfect.
Not only that, gossiping can lead to the spread of rumors not founded on any sort of truth.
I had an experience this past week where I heard a rumor about myself and it was almost comical because the rumour told of a situation and place I was never in.
All it will cause is heartache, distrust and I believe that in the end, the person doing the gossiping will be the most hurt.
Remember that every single person on this Earth is a child of God. We are all siblings.
Jesus Christ already atoned for our sins, so even if we are imperfect, we can one day receive Salvation as we follow in the footsteps of our Savior and King.
Let us strive to not add to his pains my hurting another through our words, especially when they are not around.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary in these latter days!
I have been so blessed to be able to serve and learn to love the people of Thailand!
How grateful I am to have another family here now :)

A Miracle Filled Week :D <3

Hello lovelies! :D I'm going to tell you all about my weekend because there has just been so many tender mercies that my heart is just exploding with gratitude to my Heavenly Father so here goes! Saturday we met this super cool lady named Pat and this sweet man named Gary outside on the street. They both listened to the first vision and accepted a return appointment. They both thought that Joseph Smith's experience was super cool. It sure is! And it's true! We got to talk about faith in Jesus Christ with sister Simpson. She was giving us  a house tour of her new place because her other one was in a fire :(. She's been so positive about the whole situation though. She's definitely an example to me! We got to visit the Estrada family who're these super cool recent converts. We just love them! We had our weekly dinner with the Guest family and the food was delicious! We got a headquarter referral named Patrick and we were able to teach him the first vision! He's actually sister Estrada's brother which cannot be a coincidence! He really needs this right now. He has had a rough life! He said he thinks that he was led to us by Heavenly Father and I know that's true. I love helping people change their lives and come unto Christ. The mission life is the best life! We also got another headquarter referral the same day and were able to share the first vision with her as well. She said we could come back too! I also always feel like i'm getting my welcome to America when we go visit a recent convert named Brandy. Her and her family are awesome! LAst week they showed me their gun collection and this week it was their hunting knives... welcome to Merica folks haha! We also had an investigator named Tyler show up to church! We met him a few weeks back and hadn't been able to see him since because of his work schedule but he came! I definitely know that the Lord is in the details of our lives. He blesses us after the trial of our faith. Miracles happen everyday. We just need to look for them. I'm so grateful to be a servant of the Lord. I know He lives. I love and miss you all! Have a great week! <3

A Trail of Endless Tears and the Sinking Titanic

So much has happened this past week that I'm not sure I remember everything.
All I can say is that I am eternally grateful to my Heavenly Father who trusts me enough to place me in the lives of very specific people.
One of the greatest blessings has been to be a shoulder to cry on.
I can't heal a broken heart. But, I can embrace someone in my arms and pray that they will be enfolded in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to have a Savior, who is the only being who can truly put the pieces of a broken heart back together.
It's been a frustrating week to watch a cascade of miscommunication, hard feelings, disloyalty and rash decisions pile up and start sinking our Titanic.
If there is one thing I learned from all of this is that family is so very important.
We will be faced with extremely hard trials, but as we hold firm together as a family through faith, God will take care of us.
