I Love to See the Temple! :D <3
Monday: We heart attacked the Staples family and the Condiff family in the ward just to show them how much we love and appreciate them. Both brother and sister Staples actually served in the Canada Montreal mission. How awesome is that! We met with our investigator Twana who came to church on Sunday and loved it! We read from The Book of Mormon with her and she just believes that the gospel is true! Her dad is a member in the Racine ward and her brother Roy is taking the lessons there with my old companion Sister Gross. Small world! We met with this guy named Tyrone who came up to talk to us at a Wendy's last week. He was actually the youngest youth to be incarcerated as an adult in the whole state but you would never be able to tell! He is an entrepreneur now who helps keep youth off the streets and he is starting his own TV show on CBS. He was awesome though! He is well versed in the scriptures and we definitely got his attention with The Book of Mormon. We went to visit this sweet old lady named Virginia who had cancer. Her sister in Memphis is a member so we shared the first vision with her and the let her rest because she wasnt feeling well. She was super sweet though and invited us back. We are not living in our ward boundaries right now. We actually lived in the Brookfield ward boundaries. We came home to a watermelon on our pation from Sister Bednarek in the Brookfield ward. So sweet!
Tuesday: District meeting was so much fun! We all went to eat lunch together at Cousins Subs afterwards. It was a great way to build unity. Our district leader Elder Goldsberry is super nice! We were tracting and we found this super sweet lady named Deb. She actually works with a member named Andrea from the YSA ward. She is Catholic but loves learning about different faiths.
Saturday: We took Tiffany out with us for half of the day. She is nineteen and has been a member about two years. Most of our lessons fell through today so we tracted and talked ot people on the streets. We met this super cool man named Willy. We taught him the first vision and he told us a bit about his background. He has seen many churches in his time because he cleans them for work! He said they we would be able to come by again and teach him soem more which is wonderful!
Sunday: The best day of the week always! We had Janice And Jennifer at church for the first time. We went to the YSA sacrament with Jennifer because she was super nervous. They talked alot about trials and the atonement. Something that really stuck out to me was that Christ had to suffer it all and so how could we expect to ge tthorugh life without a little bit of tirla and testing because that is how we grow. Jennifer loved everything about church! We got the elders to give our investigator Ella a blessing and then we taught them a powerful first vision lesson and they accepted a baptismal date for July 15th. The Spirit was super strong!

Blessings all around! :D <3
Hello friends! I was rushing this morning so I forgot my pictures. I'm sorry im terrible! But im really repenting and trying to make my blog posts better so heres some highlights from this week!
Monday: We were browsing around the Brookfield mall during preparation day and we bumped into the Waukesha elders ,Elder Helco and Elder Andersen . We also pumped into a nesting goose outside. Random right! We had dinner with the Burtenshaw family this week. They are members in the blessed Milwaukee First Ward. They have the three cutest little kids: Ashlyn, Brogan and Jaycie. They have so much energy! We played catch and at for them for a bit before dinner and boy was I tired after that but I loved every moment of it! We had a lesson with our investigator Janice and her fiancee Ronnie. Ronnie made us ice cream but wasnt too good at that so Sister Soifua helped him out. My ice cream fell on my shirt! Yay me!
Tuesday: We had zone training meeting and it was so good! We talked about different ways that we can find families to teach using the tools that the Lord has given us like The Family A Proclamation to the World and family history. We also talked about the different levels of motivation for missionary work. Right after zone training we tracted into this awesome family! The Walls family! And guess what we shared with them? Yes! The Family Proclamation. Our leaders are definitely inspired! We met with Sister Brown whos less active. We talked with her about how she felt at her baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. She has so many super cool experiences about promptings that shes received from the Spirit. I myself im still working on recognizing the Spirit.
Wednesday: We moved apartments today. I never wanna move again in my life! We had to completely empty out the old appartment and needless to say missionaries have alot of junk in their apartments haha. We also moved into an elders apartment. Needless to say this germaphobe has come along way haha. No its not so bad though they were good elders! The senior couple the Shumways and Waukesha came to help us which was really a blessing. Then we had our first lesson with our investigator Tiffany. We taught her the First Vision and then she offered the cutest closing prayer. She was grateful for us coming at that time because she was in a depression. WE had dinner with the Willes family. I was really excited to get to know then better. Sister
Willes has the best red hair ever! And she plays rugby! Lets just say that we had great fun together! Her husband was busy at med school as is the case with lots of the awesome faithful sister sin the ward. I ate tofu for dinner too and it was actually really good! Then I went on exchanges with Sister Wise in Milwaukee One.
Thursday: Sister Wise and I went to help serve food to some seniors at a residence. I love it so much! They are all the cutest! We went to go say bye to one of our investigators Cherry whos moving to Illinois also. WE read some of the Book of Mormon with her because she was going a little crazy with stress from packing and all. I love her though. She has the cutest grandchildren living with her. I just love kids! We were working near an investigator that we were trying to contact and met this awesome woman name Latoya. She was telling us about how she survived lupus with the Lords help. We had dinner with a family the Hutchinsons in the Brookfield ward. They are so funny! Brother Hutchinson just came back from Sherbrooke university for a work trip. My heart was oh so happy to hear about home! We also got a Book of Mormon referral named Jen. Those are so precious and rare!
Friday: We went to visit Roz and Delores who are the funnest less actives ever! It was Delores birthday so we had cupcakes yum! Sister Stier took us to this delicious restaurant named P.K Chang and I had this divine banana dumplings dessert!
Saturday: We helped this family move who we used to teach. The members even got her a uhaul truck. They are really just so charitable which is actually the attribute of Christ that im studying this month. We visited Sister Stier and she gave us some patterns that she had made. Then we went to the Condiffs house so Sister Soifua could practice her departing song. We met with our super solid investigator Michelle. Words cannot explain how much I love that woman. She mad e us tacos too shes really sweet. WE talked about the gospel of Jesus Christ and she just has so much faith and like just eats up all that we teach her. Shes working towards baptism next month which is exciting. We had dinner with the petersons. They are lovely! We helped this less active sister jensen put together some picture portfolios for her daycare. Shes from Columbia. She made us some arripas and cacao. So good!
Sunday: Church is the best always! GAbby Fuhriman gave her farewell talk because shes going to the London ENgland mission this week. She will do great! She is so loving and bubbly. Alot of medical students are leaving this summer so were going to have a bit of a mass exodus sad :(. But the new year brings new med students so all is well! WE had dinner with the
Brownes whos our ward mission leader. WE had tacos so good! They have the cutest chunkiest baby girl ever! WE went to visit a less active Sister Carter with the bishops wife Sister Chaplin. Sister Chaplin is the best! Always ready and willing to serve everyone. Sister CArter has so many antiques its cool!
Well life is great! I feel super duper blessed to be out here serving the Lord! I wish time would slow down! Thank you so much for all your love and support! Lots of love! -Sister Mansfield :D <3

Hello world!
Hello world! Sorry im so terrible with my group emails. Im going to repent and be better next weeek! it was defiantely a week of tender mercies from the Lord. we were pretty much carless for the last weekend of april because we were way out of miles. But the awesome sister in the milwaukee first ward gave us lifts in and our of our area so that we could find people to teach. it was awesome!
friday we were able to get back in touch with an investigator named jessica. we had an appointment with her previously but it fell through so we just dropped by. her little son was leaving for the weekend when we caught her so we were able to sit down with her and just read from the book of mormon. we read 3 nephi 11 when the Saviour comes to the Amercias with her and helped aply it to her own life. she told u s that shes looking to grow her faith so were excited to read the book of mormon with her and be able to testify about how much it talks about the Saviour! we also went to this amazing custard place for dinner with sister stier from the ward. shes lovely!
we were outside all day in the rain walking to and from appointments on saturday when a lady pulled over and asked us what church we were from. we told her what church and then she was asking us questions about what denomination it was and our beliefs and stuff. there were other cars honking so we thought she would just drive away but instead she drove us to our lunch place. she told us she was looking for a church home. so we were able to get her info and were going to meet with her this week. heavenly father is so mindful of us all! i love this gospel! and i love Wisconsin! i love you all! thanks for all your love and support!

milwaukee is awesome!
So this week we taught a killer restoration lesson to one of our investigators named sister Robb. She was actually a Bible referral and wanted to learn more so she let us come back! I love her so much already shes such a character. We taught her the restoration and I was the one who shared the first vision. As I shared the first vision we all felt the spirit super strong. My heart was on fire and sister gross and i were holding back tears. Sister Robb was kind of alarmed actually. She was liek I dont knwo what you just shared but I felt something. We both testified that it was the Spirt letting her know that what we shared was true. Sister gross and i have never felt the spirit so strongly in a lesson. sister Robb was so excited to read the book fo mormon after that! im so grateful for prophets and the book or mormon and most importantly my saviour Jesus Christ!
We contacted alot of bible referrals this week and found lots of sweet potentials. We got to know the members of the ward better during a delicious pancake brunch. Transfers are this week. im actually staying in the milwaukee first ward!!! which im quite stoked about! im getting a new companion named sister soifua. this is actually her last trasnfer. ive literally had a new companion every transfer its crazy! but im excited for new things! the lord knows whats best for us so we wil see what this trasnfer has i store! im excited! :) its going to be scary being in charge of the area though but with the lords help all is possible. milwaukee is awesome! the people are friendly, the people are being prepared and the food is delicious! im grateful to see the lords hand in my life so much! i love you all! :D <3

General Conference!
so i dont have much time so here we go general conference was so good! im so grateful that we have a living prophet and apostles to lead and guide the Savior church. i always feel the spirit watching them and i alwaysget answers to my questions. we watched the sunday morning session ith our recent convert gary and an investigator names janice. she received inspiration for herself as she watched it. she asked us afterwards how she can repent and if she need to repent everyday. how awesome is that! their were definitely lots of happy tears shed during conference. we got to watch the last session with president and sister cutler. she makes the most delicious food! after dinner we talked about the mission wide atonement read that were doing on the book of Mormon. we mark scriptures about the nature of Christ and his atonement and how we access that power. its so great to be able to see hwo The Book of Mormon just testifies of Christ and His atonement and how we can draw so much closer to Him through reading it. So i had some real Wisconsin cheese curds this week. They were oh so heavenly. custard is so good! i dont ever want ice cream again!

Because He Lives :D <3
we went to play dohs closet on preparation day with the sister training leaders (sister wise & kirchoeffer) and that was quite fun! i also was craving McDonald milkshakes really bad so we stopped and i got a 50 cent nce cream cone. so cheap. so good! we also had dinner with bishop chaplin and his family who are just wonderful. it was great to be able to talk about the members over dinner. they have the funniest kids too. and they are oh so cute! we also went o visit a less active sister carter with sister chaplin after dinner. shes a great woman! she loves antiques and showed us all the wonderful stuff that she got from a recent auction. we shared the visiting teaching message with her and it was great to be able to just remind her and myself of our divine heritage. the message was about how we are all created in gods image. we really are all children of a loving father in heaven.
district meeting was hilarious! we had to share a super power that weve always wanted. sister katz and hansen from lake Michigan always steal the show. we just love them. their hilarious! but we went over some teaching skills in pmg which was a great refresher for me. im working really hard to get through every chapter but theres just so many and they are all soo good! i got to finally meet a less active sister perry. she was so excited to hear that ive only been a member about five years an dos she shared her conversion story with me. sister stier in the milwaukee 1 ward which im serving in took us to dinner at the machine shed. it was like a barn restaurant full of cows, plows and mason jars. it was adorable and so good!
we get a ton of bible referrals here which is great! its just hard to keep up haha! so we spent a lot of Wednesday contacting those referrals which was very nice! we went to visit a less active sister and her mom who both have many health issues. they are always so grateful when we come visit. she said that we always share just what she needs or had a question about. im grateful for the spirit because we dont know what everybody needs or is going through. heavenly father does though so his spirit is able to help us know what each person needs to hear.
we went on exchanges! i stayed in milwaukee 1 with sister kirchoeffer. i tired to find my way around the area without sister gross haha. it was like a blizzard outside with some hail and off tracting we went for a bit! gotta love th emission life! :) we had a great lesson with anaya on jill on the gospel on jesus christ. we were very unified in our teaching and the spirit was most definitely there. jill is not smoking and is doing great! we tracted and contacted some referrals in wauwatosawhich is another city in our ward bounds. we had dinner with the petersons and the boyles. i just adore them i got to see some real guns in person! my face was priceless. but my favourite thing was talking about easter. Christ loves us all so much that he died for us so that we can all live again with our families. i am grateful that i have the opportunity to testify of this matchless gift everyday. i love my Savior! and i love you all! :D <3

we had exhanges tuesday with the stls which was fun! we did a blitz in tgheir area. i was with sister wise over the brookfield ward. we both felt prompted to talk to this lady taking a cigarette break outside of the salon that she worked at. her name was bonnie. she told us about how she was troubled over he rmoms recent passing. we were able to share the first vision with ehr and talk about the glorious easter season and of the resurrection of christ. and that because of Him we will all be ressurected with perfect bodies and that we get to be with our fmailies forever. it is so great to be able to testify and lift peoples spirits. we had dinner with sister haynes from that ward who recently lost her husband. she just kept bearing sweet testimony about how she knows that she will see him again and all her ancestors as well. we talked about the blessings fo the temple and how we are so grateful for the priesthood that binds us to our love dones eternally.
sister wise and i woke up extra early to go to my first seminary class! i loved it! we read in isaiah about the latter day restoration of the gospel. it was really cool since isaiah is a hard read but theres so much good stuff in there! the kids were super excited to have us there though. they were so enthusiastic at like 6 am it was refreshing! we did hae to wake up an hour earlier for that but i os gratefultn hat we did. and io found out that sister wise knows my mommy fromt he canada toronto mission sister chelson. the lds world is so small. i love it! we had dinner at the rs presidents house sister vanhille. her kids are adorable! so we had french onion sauce for dinner and fry sauce. i didnt know that i was supposed to dip the burger int he sauce. sister gross and vanhille jsurt laughed and said guess its a utah thing! yep! haha.
we went to help a less active named sister jensen make protfolios for her daycare. she was jsut so grateful that we were able to make time to help serve her. we hope that as we serve an dlove her that her heart will be softened to the messages of the gospel once again.
we had a great lesson with a less active youth named anaya and her non member mom jill. they are having some struggles right now so it seemed like perfect timing to share the plan of salvation with them. and oh yeah jill just decided to quit smoking cold turkey after our last visit. almost forgot that huge miracle. but yeah sharing the plan of salvation with them just seemed to help give jill an ete5rnal perspective. we brought sister young the young womens president with us. anaya is so knowledgeable about the gospel and she has a sweet testimony. i love love lveo heavenly fathers plan of happiness. it just helps us know why were here and where were going. and im just so grateful for my saviour this easter season.im blessedn to be able to testify of him to everyone that we emet. im grateful that becausse of him i get to see and be with my wonderful family forever. make sure you check out this beautiful easter video about the saviour and share ti! : followhim.mormon.org . i love you all! :D <3

Fast Sundays are the greatest
monday was great! we had faamily home evenign with the peterson family. i love them so much. they had three sons and an adorable baby girl name blakesly. brother peterson is a cardiologist. cool huh? he served in the hungary budapest mission. we had one of the sons friends over too. bro peterson set up scary looking hungarian mouse traps with m and ms on then all over the living room floor. then his son jackson was blindfolded and had to follows his brother stephens voice to cross to the toher side of the room. this was an analogy for the holy ghost. when we are baptized we receive the ggift of the holy ghost and we are comprised his constand companionship if we remain worthy of this gift. we have to really listen with our minds and hearts for that still small voice. we have to seek him and he will be there guided us along the straight an dnarrow path and keeping us safe.
tuesday we had a district lunch at applebees. usually that would have been exciting exept my food was cold not fun! but it was ister lambretcht birthday so we got her a sundae and dang her a song which was great! the district is awesome! our zone leader elder baird is a great speaker. he talked to us at district meeting about really nto being wscared to become the missionary that Christ wants and knows that we can become. to ptu our whole heart, might mind and stregth into the work. our district leader elder vang had us go on an egg hunt :). then we got chocolate and read easter scriptures about christs atonement and resurrection. it was great!
sunday was a spiritual firehose! a family in our ward recently lost a baby after about a day so thats been weighing heavy on everyone. and the father of the baby went up and bore a sweet testimony of his sure knowledge of the ressurection. that we will all be resurrected with perfect bodies because chirst was. chirst grants this free girft to us all. he laso talked about the temple and how hes grateful that he gets to be with his family forever and that his fmaily is grateful for the saviours love and atonement. the chapel was full of tear filled eyes. i addd my tesimony to his that Christ lives! so that we can all live againw ith our fmailies as well if we turn to him. sorry im pictureless again, im waiting for ym camera from toronto! wisocnsin is th ebest though! i lvoe you all! :) <3

milwaukee is such an awesome place! its been super mild here. its really open, green and just beautiful. sometimes the winds pretty intense though! theres alot of american flags everywhere haha. i had soem signature wisconsin custard which is like ice cream from a restaurant called kopps. we are serving in the milwaukee 1 ward. their are also zebra elders in our ward serving in mong and enlgish. cool eh? theres alot of people here with southern accents kind of and i just love it!
our ward is full of med students and doctors! its the coolest thing! ive never really known many doctors! our ward is fairly yound as well with lots of little babies that im tempted to hold!
we went to visit a former named savannah because sister gross felt like we should. we found her home and we just talked to her about our purpose on earth and how she could be so much happier with the gospel like her friends at church. we went to visit her and a few days later she had read and was just so much happier. thats what the gospel of jesus christ does folks. its changes lives and brings us joy.
i also met an investigator named janice who recently finished the book of mormon and now shes tackling the bible. shes found that the book of mormon has helped her to understand the bible. i know that is true! the bible and the book of mormon go together as two testaments that christ is our saviour.
i love this gospel, and my saviour and the book of mormon. and im grateful for all of you and your constant love, support and prayers!
love, sister mansfield :D <3
